Code Setting
Foxmail version 3.1
or above support GB2312, iso-8859-1, Shift-JIS, KSC as well as us-ascii and
iso-8859-1.
When you execute
Foxmail to detect your Operating System (OS) and set up the corresponding code
as default, for example, when running Foxmail in the Simplified OS, it will
default to use GB2312.
Send Mail
If you want to covert Simplified Chinese to Traditional Chinese, please open the Compose box then click Tools/Convert Character/GB->Big5, you can also convert Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese by select Big5->GB
If you are composing mail in other language, such as Korean or Japanese, please open the Compose box then click Options/Convert Character to set up the corresponding character. If the corresponding character is not available, you have to install multilingual module before using this function.

Please click My Computer/Control Panel/Regional Option then
tick a language on Language Setting for the System box open and
then click OK.

Auto detection is only available for the document which is bigger than 10 words, if you can make sure the language for this document, please set a proper language.
Remark
This function is only available for
Far-Eastern version of Windows.
Receive Mail
Foxmail will display mail according to the mail characteristic, if the mail display in illegible word, user can use hand setting:
Click Message/Convert Character then select a proper code, when the code is consistent as encoding, then mail will display normally.
